  GENERAL DESCRIPTION  
The rooms in this elegant Milan hotel are extremely comfortable and welcoming, furnished with style and simplicity, in a fine mix between classic and modern style, with warm parquet floors and a view over the garden and city park. A lift allows easy access to the upper floors. Our guests will be immersed in high quality comfort making their stay all the more pleasant: air conditioning, a direct telephone line, television, a wireless Internet access system, a minibar, safe, a hair dryer and a private bathroom with bath and shower, and a laundry service. The 60 rooms of the La Residenza Hotel are of different types: a single room with a three-quarter bed, twin rooms and double rooms with a queen-size bed, and triple and quadruple rooms for an all-family holiday. Rooms especially fitted and fully accessible for the disabled are available on the ground floor. The La Residenza Hotel Bar is a true cafeteria and snack bar, where you can enjoy delicious home-made sweets, sandwiches, cappuccinos, hot chocolate drinks and fresh citrus juices at any time of day or night, as the bar remains open around the clock. One of the unique characteristics of this Milan hotel is the elegant wine room: a spacious, quiet and highly reserved place where you can taste among a wide variety of Italian wine labels served by the glass, or you can purchase vintage wines either by bottle or as a luxurious gift. Don't miss out on the garden aperitif with live music during the summer. The Sunflower restaurant is a very romantic and elegant place, where our guests can try the typical tastes of traditional Italian wine and gastronomy: a rich variety of salami and cheeses, home-made pasta, home-baked sweets and other fresh, authentic delicacies. The hotel restaurant can accomodate 80 to 90 people, and is thus the perfect solution for cerimonies, banquets and parties. Meals can be served in the rooms on request.

How to reach the Hotel
By plane: The "Malpensa Express" train leaves the Milan Malpensa airport every 30 minutes, and takes you to the "Bovisa" railway station within just 35 minutes for only € 9.00. Once there, you can phone 02.4040 for a taxi, which will take you straight to the hotel in a few minutes (there is only a distance of 1.5 km). From the Linate and Orio al Serio airports, a "Shuttle" bus leaves every 30 minutes for the Milan Central Station, which is the last stop. By train: From the Central Station, take the Metropolitan yellow line in direction "Maciachini" and step down on the third and final stop, which is in fact "Maciachini". From here you can take any of these 3 buses: No. 41 (Bovisasca), No. 52 (Comasina) or No. 70 (Bruzzano). Get down on the fifth stop at "Pellegrino Rossi-Baveno", on the corner of Via Vignati. Walk to the end of Via Vignati (about 200 metres) and turn left into Via Vittorio Scialoia: you will see the La Residenza Hotel on the right-hand side of the street, just after the church. The hotel is number 3. The total journey takes about 15 to 20 minutes. By car: from Bologna: take the East Ring Road in the direction of Venice; come onto the North Ring Road (A4) in the direction of Turin and exit at Cormano; from ’Milan Malpensa airport: take the A8 in the direction of Milan and then the A4 or North Ring Road in the direction of Venice, and exit at the Cormano interchange; from Venice: follow the North Ring Road (A4) in the direction of Turin, and exit at the Cormano interchange; from Genoa: take the West Ring Road towards Turin, and then the North Ring Road in the direction of Venice, until the Cormano exit. Once having come out at Cormano, follow the directions for central Milan: when you come off the slope, make sure you keep to the left and enter the 3-lane main road, go straight ahead under the overpass, and after about 500 metres take the bridge in the direction of Bruzzano-Affori, turning right towards Affori. Keep going until the end lights, and turn left into Via Astesani. Keep going for about 1 km until you get to Via Pellegrino Rossi, and turn left into Via Vignati after the Shell petrol station. At the end of the short Via Vignati, turn left into Via Vittorio Scialoia where, on the right-hand side of the street just after the church, you will find the La Residenza Hotel. The distance from the Cormano exit to the hotel is about 4 km.
