From MARCO POLO airport:Direct bus service(ATVO blue buses)for Piazzale Roma.Takes around 20 minutes.Taxi-car.Locanda Gaffaro is a 5 minute walk from Piazzale Roma(taxi drop).Water taxi-takes you right to the hotel in Fondamenta Malcanton.From TREVISO airport:Direct bus service to Piazzale Roma coinciding with arrival times.Takes about an hour and drops you in Piazzale Roma, 5 minutes from the hotel.From Venice SANTA LUCIA railway station:Only 10 minutes walk from the hotel:Cross the Grand Canal in front of the station on the Ponte Dei Scalzi and follow signs for Tolentini,follow the canal to Fondamenta del Gaffaro,then cross Marcello bridge,turn right with the wooden bridge in fondamenta Malcanton behind you,then turn right again into Corte del Gallo.By CAR:There are a number of places you can leave the car:The Tronchetto multi-storey car park,across the Ponte della Libertà(bridge which takes you to Venice across the lagoon).Car parks in Piazzale Roma:Parcheggio San Marco(usually used for day trips)or the Comunale(municipal) car park for 24 hour parking.Less expensive but less convenient:there is a large car park on the right just before the Ponte della Libertà(lagoon bridge),near the Aval offices(hotel information).You can park here and take one of the regular buses across the bridge into Venice.Buses leave every 5 minutes for Piazzale Roma.There is also cheaper parking near the railway station in Mestre.Trains leave from here for Venice every 8-10 minutes and take 10 minutes.
